I would like to share my post about amazing opportunity to visit summer seminar in United States with people who do not speak Ukrainian and who also find Google Translator illiterate :-). So, here is the post in English. Don't be too judgmental!!
This summer I took part in the seminar organized by Institute for Human Studies in the United States. It was a great program devoted to the topic of morality, capitalism and freedom. There is a number of reasons why I think this program is worth participating in:
1. the lectures are held by professors from St. Jones University, Duke University, and George Mason University.
2. it is free - Institute pays for accommodation, meals and lectures which will be held in one of the eastern states during one week of summer. (You only have to pay the travel costs)
3. in order to apply you don't need to send anything by post, you just use online application.
4. without any doubt you'll meet people from all over the world who will share their ideas and perceptions of liberty and capitalism.

You will be offered to choose from 12 seminars. I took part in Morality, Capitalism and Freedom seminar at Wake Forest University. This week was full of liberty, fun and low-alcoholic American beer. Every day started at 8.00 am (for most people :-)), than we had nourishing breakfast and, of course, a couple of coffees to keep us awake. One hour later the lectures began. Personally I found most of them fulfilling and enriching. The lectures lasted till 9.00 p.m including 2 hours-breaks for some lunch, sleep and Ultimate Frisbee games under 100F heat.
Following the discussion rounds in small groups after the lectures we experienced long-awaited socials, where all participants got together, drunk some free beer and enjoyed multicultural conversations. These rounds lasted till midnight but definitely didn't put the end to the fun. The fun part continues up on the roof where we included beer-pong into our conversations. So once you decide to take part in the seminar, be ready for the sleepless nights and unforgettable moments.
Before you start to fill in the application form be ready to devote at least 2 hours to this process as you will need to write two essays and description of your career goals. But there is great news - the deadline for application is March 31st, so you have a lot of time to think of the topics for your essays.
